Connect Google Calendar

Updated 25 October 2026

The Short Answer

Open Extensions then Connectors and open the Google Calendar card. Sign in with the Google account your calendar is in and allow both permissions. Your PropKaki events then appear in a calendar called PropKaki in Google Calendar, and your Google appointments appear in your Schedule as Busy.

It works both ways: what you book in PropKaki goes out, and the time you are already taken comes in.

How do I connect Google Calendar?

  1. Open Extensions → Connectors and open the Google Calendar card. It sits straight after Google Drive.
  2. Press Connect Google Calendar.
  3. Sign in to Google with the account your calendar is in.
  4. Allow PropKaki to add a calendar called “PropKaki”, and to see when you're busy. When Google asks, tick every box (they start unticked), then press Continue.

You land back on Connectors with the card reading Connected and your Google address under its name. Google runs the sign-in, so PropKaki never sees your password.

What happens once it is connected?

Two things, within minutes:

  • Out: every event in your Schedule from today to 180 days ahead is added to a new calendar called PropKaki in your Google Calendar. From then on, an event you add, change or delete in PropKaki follows within a minute.
  • In: the appointments in your main Google calendar appear in your Schedule, grey, marked From Google with Google Calendar's logo. They are checked every 10 minutes.

The card's line says it: Your Schedule is in Google Calendar and your Google appointments are here, so you're never booked twice.

Why do my Google appointments say Busy?

Google gives PropKaki the start and end of each appointment, not its title, so every Google appointment reads Busy in your Schedule. The time is blocked all the same: your assistant will not offer it to a client.

Outlook works differently and shows titles from the start. Why do my Google appointments say Busy? has the detail, including how to open one in Google.

What if Google says nothing was connected?

Three messages can appear in the card's window instead of Connected:

You seeWhat to do
The Google sign-in didn't completePress Connect Google Calendar again. On a work account, your IT admin may need to allow PropKaki
Google didn't give PropKaki everything it asks forConnect again, and tick every box when Google asks
Google offered PropKaki more of your calendar than it asks forNothing was read and nothing was kept. Please let us know — this one is ours to fix

If the card later reads Needs a fix with Google signed you out, press Fix and connect again.

Does it change my Google Drive connection?

No. Google Drive and Google Calendar are two cards with two connections, even when you use the same Google account for both. Connecting Calendar adds nothing to what Drive can reach, and disconnecting Calendar leaves Drive attaching files as before.

Connecting is free on every plan.
