Tan's website says he heads Jason Tan Advisory Group at PropNex and dates its founding to 2021. The same site carries PNG's history and training pages, among them "Powerful Negotiators Trainings" and PNG's 2020 initiatives, which places the group within PNG's training.^[1]

PropKaki lists JTA under Marcus Luah Advisory, the PNG division with the largest published claim. No source read for this page states that link in words; the group itself has published only its PNG training. Like every PropNex group, JTA has no licence of its own, and CEA's register lists its agents under PropNex Realty.

Tan's website, whose copyright line reads 2022, describes a team of over 900 led by 25 team leaders. PropNex's March 2025 announcement of his appointment as Chief Strategy Officer, as EdgeProp reported it, put his team at more than 1,000 salespersons.^[1],[2],[3]

EdgeProp reported in June 2017 that Tan had worked at ERA for 12 years and was one of the founding members of Navis Living Group, with Jay Ong and Gary Chua from ERA's Navis team. Navis had brought about 440 agents to OrangeTee since that April, and Tan was a Senior Associate Executive Director there, overseeing the group's IT.^[4]

His website's timeline lists ERA awards in 2008, 2014 and 2015, his OrangeTee appointment in 2017, an OrangeTee award in 2019, and the founding of Jason Tan Advisory at PropNex in 2021. It dates his Navis co-founding to 2007, while EdgeProp dated Navis Living Group to 2017.^[1],[4]

PropNex appointed Tan Chief Strategy Officer at its 25th-anniversary sales summit on 10 March 2025, alongside Dominic Lee as Head of Investment Sales. EdgeProp described him as an Advisory Associate Branch District Director and a technology consultant on PropNex's Investment Suite and Business Suite apps.^[2],[3]

His website says he leads 25 team leaders, with assistants and a social media team. PropertyGuru lists his CEA number as R026761B, registered with PropNex since September 2021, the year he founded JTA; his row links that profile.^[1]

The group reached its size quickly: Tan's website dates its founding to 2021 and, around 2022, puts it at over 900. A testimonial on the site says its writer had "recently joined Jason in PropNex". The timeline below gives each figure with who reported it.^[1]

Before JTA, Tan was one of the leaders of ERA's Navis team, which brought about 440 agents to OrangeTee in 2017, EdgeProp reported. The sources read do not say when he left OrangeTee or how many agents came with him to PropNex.^[4]

Commission splits are set by PropNex, not by the group. PropNex's 2018 prospectus says salespersons generally keep 70% to 90% of the commission on a completed deal, and that one who leaves their team can rejoin PropNex only after 12 months.^[5]

PropNex has several groups of a thousand agents or more, many of them nested inside one another, so their sizes overlap. MattLamAdvisory's website says it has more than 1,000 members, and EdgeProp reported over 2,000 in May 2026.^[6],[7]
