Write a message with Auto Draft

Updated 29 September 2026

The Short Answer

Tick people in Prospecting, or open one person, and press Message. Pick what you want to do, narrow it with the question it asks next if you like, add any details, and press Auto Draft. A draft is 1 credit (1 per person with Customised Message), and sending is 1 credit for each person it reaches.

The panel opens on Auto with an empty box, and PropKaki writes nothing until you press Auto Draft.

How do I open the Message panel?

  1. In Prospecting, tick the people you want to write to.
  2. Press Message above the list. With three ticked it reads Message (3). For one person you can also press Message on their profile, or right-click them and choose Message.
  3. Check Via at the top: WhatsApp or Email. Format under it offers Template or Message on WhatsApp, Newsletter or Email on email. Changing either clears any draft in the box.

Message always opens it on Auto with an empty box. To carry on with a draft you saved, open the person's Drafts tab and press the draft, or choose Use Draft in the first dropdown.

What can I pick under What do you want to do?

Twelve entries, each with its own line:

  • Auto: Picks the best message for this person
  • Send Update: Tells them what's changed and what it means
  • Share Content: Sends a guide, report, shortlist or article
  • Send Invite: Invites them to a webinar, viewing or open house
  • Ask to Talk: Asks for a call or a meeting
  • Check In: Nudges them to hear how things are going
  • Send Greeting: Wishes them well, with nothing asked
  • Reply: Answers their last message
  • Use Draft: Reuses a draft you saved earlier
  • Use Template: Sends one of your approved templates
  • Write Myself: Sends exactly what you type
  • Give Instructions: Writes it from what you tell it to say

Use Draft and Use Template open a list to choose from; in Use a Template, one still waiting on Meta can be picked too. Write Myself gives you an empty box for your own words, with no Auto Draft button.

What is the second question for?

Six entries open a second field asking which one you mean:

  • Send Update: What do you want to update on?
  • Share Content: What do you want to share?
  • Send Invite: What do you want to invite them to?
  • Ask to Talk: What do you want to ask for?
  • Check In: What do you want to check in on?
  • Send Greeting: What's the occasion?

It reads Pick One until you choose; leave it and the entry you picked decides. Beside an option, 2 found is how many things PropKaki turned up for this person under it. Send Update's options are Listings, Transactions, New Launches, Market, Rules, Key Dates, Value and News.

Auto, Reply and Give Instructions ask no second question.

What goes in Add any details?

The box under the questions is Add any details, or What should it say? if you picked Give Instructions. Its grey example follows your pick; for a webinar, What, when and where? e.g. Upgrading from HDB, 14 Oct 8pm, on Zoom. Only Give Instructions needs words here before Auto Draft lights up.

The paperclip inside the box (Attach a file for PropKaki to read) gives PropKaki material to write from. Your client never receives it. Its menu has My Files, Upload from Computer, and From Google Drive while your Google Drive is connected. It holds 2 files at a time.

A file your client should receive goes on Attach Files → Add File, higher up the panel.

Which Message Type should I choose?

Message Type appears when you are writing to two or more people, except on Write Myself. It starts on Generic Message:

OptionWhat it means
Generic MessageOne message for everyone.
Fill-In MessageOne message, filled in for each person.
Customised MessageA different message for each person.

The line under Fill-In Message, such as 14 of 20 personalised., says how many people it can be made personal for. An option that cannot work for your pick is greyed with its reason: pick Transactions under Send Update and Generic and Fill-In both read Not for this one — a fact about their own place is different for every person. Customised Message is never greyed.

With Customised Message, Auto Draft first asks Draft 20 Messages?. Press Draft Them to go ahead.

What happens when I press Auto Draft?

  1. Press Auto Draft. It reads Checking what's new... while PropKaki looks, then Writing....
  2. Read the draft in the box. What PropKaki found is under See Notes, the last item in the box's row of icons.
  3. Read the grey line under the box. It says what the draft drew on: the figures it used, Transactions — from what's on file., or Nothing new on Jason — so this asks rather than tells.
  4. Change any words you like, then send.

The Auto Draft button then goes. To write it again, press Start Again, the ↺ in the box. Over a saved draft it asks Keep This Draft?: Save as Draft keeps the old one under Drafts, and Write Over It replaces it.

If nothing new has turned up, it still writes one, and the panel says so: Nothing new for Jason … Tell me what to say instead.

What does Auto Draft cost?

What you doCredits
Auto Draft or Start Again for one person1
The same for a group, on Generic Message or Fill-In Message1
The same on Customised Message1 per person
Changing words in the box0
Sending1 per person it reaches

A link you open and send yourself is not charged, nor is a ready-made message, which the box gets when PropKaki cannot write one or you are out of credits. The panel shows a price only when it is over 50 credits, or more than you have left: Costs 60 credits. You have 340 left this month.

Still Stuck?

Ask PropKaki in the chat — it answers most of these directly — or message the team.
