Attach a file to a message

The Short Answer
You can attach from My Files, from your computer, or from Google Drive — the same three doors everywhere in PropKaki. An emailed attachment over 3 MB is held rather than sent; WhatsApp carries larger files.
Attaching works the same way at every door in PropKaki. The only thing that varies is the size an email will carry.
How do I attach a file?
Three ways, and they are the same three everywhere in PropKaki:
- My Files — anything already uploaded.
- Your computer — pick it there and then.
- Google Drive — if you have connected it in Extensions → Connectors.
Whichever you use, the file ends up in My Files afterwards, so the second time you need it you can pick it from there.
Is there a size limit?
For email, yes — an attachment over 3 MB is held rather than sent, because a message that big bounces at the far end and your client sees nothing at all.
WhatsApp carries larger files, so switching that person's channel is often the quickest fix.
What if my file is too big?
- Send that person on WhatsApp instead.
- Or share the file as a link and keep the email short.
Only the people with the oversized attachment are held. Everyone whose message fits has already gone.
Does attaching cost extra?
No. A send is 1 credit per person whether it carries a file or not, and storing the file costs nothing either.
