Rewrite or redraft a message

The Short Answer
Editing a PropKaki draft costs nothing, however much you change. Writing it again — Start Again, or Rewrite for Shorter, Warmer or More Direct — costs what the first draft did: 1 credit, or 2 for a Reply or Give Instructions, per person on a Customised Message. Edit when it is nearly right; start again for a new angle.
Changing the words yourself is free; anything PropKaki writes again costs what the first draft did.
What does editing cost?
Nothing. The draft's credit — 1, or 2 for a Reply or one written from Give Instructions — was drawn when the draft was produced, and it covers that draft however much you change it afterwards — a word, a paragraph, or all of it.
You can edit, leave it, come back an hour later and send. Nothing more is charged.
What does a fresh draft cost?
The same as the first: 1 credit, or 2 for a Reply or one written from Give Instructions. Asking PropKaki to write it again from scratch is a new piece of work.
For a group, a redraft is 1 on Generic Message or Fill-In Message, and 1 per person on Customised Message, which writes each person their own — 2, and 2 per person, for a Reply or Give Instructions.
Which should I use?
Edit the words in the box when the draft is close and you want to change the wording or cut a line.
Press Rewrite and pick Shorter, Warmer or More Direct when the facts are right and the voice is not. It writes the whole message again, so it replaces anything you typed.
Press Start Again when the angle is wrong — you asked for a check-in and want a listing update instead. Pick the new one under What do you want to do? first; it does not repeat itself.
Does changing the text change who it goes to?
No. The people are chosen separately from the words, so editing never quietly changes who receives it.
If you remove a blank while editing, that does change something useful: anyone who was held for that blank can now be sent to.
