How do I share a chat or an answer?

Either way, one press makes a link and copies it for you.

1. Open the chat from the list on the left.
2. For the whole conversation, press Share at the top of the chat.
3. For one answer only, press Share reply in the row of buttons under that answer instead.
4. Paste the link wherever you want to send it — WhatsApp, email, anywhere.

The answer's button shows Link copied for a moment. Sharing the same chat or answer again gives the same link.

Yes. In the chat list, press the chat's ⋯ (or right-click it) and choose Share — the same menu that holds Open, Rename, Pin, Archive and Delete.

That works without opening the chat, and it copies the same link as the Share at the top.

A Share reply link shows just that answer — not the question before it, and not the rest of the conversation.

A chat link shows the conversation under its name, with its cards. It shows the chat as it is when someone opens it, so anything you add to that chat later shows up too.

Anyone who has the link. There is no sign-in on the other side, which is what makes it useful for sending to a client. Search engines are told not to list it.

So treat it like a link to a document: it goes where the person you sent it to sends it.

It shows what is in that chat, so read it before you send.

Your Personalisation settings, your other conversations and your files are not part of it. But if you typed a client's name into the conversation, the link has it.

Deleting the chat takes down its link and every Share reply link made from it. Choose Delete from the chat's ⋯, then Delete again in the box — it can't be undone. Archive does not stop a link.

If you want the chat but not the link, that is what the single-reply share is for: share the one answer rather than the conversation around it.
