How do I organise my chats?

Everything happens on the chat's own row in the list on the left.

1. Hover over the chat and press its ⋯, or right-click the chat.
2. Choose Rename, Pin or Archive.
3. For Rename, type the new name and press Rename — or Enter.

A pinned chat jumps to the top of the list with a pin beside it. An archived one leaves the list and waits under Archived, at the top of your chats.

So you can find it again. Renaming changes only the name — the conversation stays exactly as it is.

Pin holds it at the top, above everything else, until you Unpin it. The chat you pinned most recently sits highest.

Use it for the two or three things you are actually working on. Pin everything and you have pinned nothing.

Archive takes it out of the list but keeps it. Archived chats wait under Archived at the top of your chats, with a count beside it; open that, then the chat's ⋯, and choose Unarchive to bring one back.

Delete asks first, then removes the conversation and everything in it for good — it can't be undone — and takes any shared links to it down with it. Archive is what you want nearly every time.

A new chat is worth starting when the subject genuinely changes — it keeps each conversation about one thing, which makes both of them easier to find later.
