PropKaki gave me a wrong answer. What do I do?
Updated 1 September 2026
The Short Answer
Say so in the conversation first: point at the figure and PropKaki will re-check it and show its source. If it is genuinely wrong, report it through Account Settings then Feedback, naming the chat and quoting the number. A wrong figure is traceable to the record it came from.
Two steps, and the second one is what actually gets it fixed.
What should I do first?
Say so in the conversation. That does not match what I have seen — where is that from?
PropKaki will name the source and re-check. Quite often the answer was right and about a different thing than you meant — a different flat type, a different period.
How do I report it?
Open Account Settings → Feedback.
Name the chat and quote the figure. Those 2 details are what make it traceable to the record it came from.
What happens then?
A wrong number is traced back to the record behind it. If the record is right and the reading was wrong, that gets fixed for everybody, not just for your chat.
This is why quoting the figure matters more than describing the problem.
What if it just seems too confident?
Ask it directly: what are you assuming here?
An answer resting on thin data should say so, and if it did not, that is worth reporting too — an over-confident answer is a defect even when the number is right.
Is some of this expected?
Some, yes. The most recent month of transactions is always still filling in, so a low count there is the data catching up rather than an error.
The methodology page sets out where each dataset stops being reliable.
