Send a message using a template

1. Tick the people in Prospecting and press Message.
2. Under What do you want to do?, pick Use Template. The Use a Template list opens, each one marked Approved by Meta or Waiting on Meta.
3. Press one. Its words land in the box, and above the box are its name, its status and Change Template.
4. Read it, then send.

The dropdown keeps reading Use Template while the template is in the box. Write a New One at the foot of the list opens the template editor instead; Submit and Use Now puts your new template in the box, waiting on Meta.

From Prospecting, yes. Its words are ready at once, and a note under the box says what waiting means: Send it now and you’ll get a link to send yourself for anyone who hasn’t written to you in 24 hours. You are told when Meta approves it.

In your Inbox, Choose a Template greys a waiting one when the client has not written to you in 24 hours, because only an approved template can reach them then. Once they have written, it can be picked, and it goes as a normal message.

Yes, but Meta approved the exact wording, so changed words go as a normal message. On WhatsApp a line says so as soon as you type: You’ve changed the template’s words, so this goes as a normal message: you’ll get a link to send yourself for anyone who hasn’t written to you in 24 hours.

Create a Template beside it turns your words into a new template and puts it in the box, waiting on Meta. To change a template for good, edit it under Extensions → Templates and resubmit it.

From each person's own record, at the moment it sends, so one template to forty people is forty different messages. In the box the blanks stay as they are, such as {{name}}.

Anyone whose record cannot fill a blank is held and named before anything goes out. Everyone else still goes, and you are charged only for the messages that go out.
