Send a message using a template

The Short Answer
Pick a template when you write and the blanks fill in from each person's record. Only approved templates appear in the picker, and anyone whose record cannot fill a blank is held before anything goes out.
Sending a template is the same as sending anything else, with the wording chosen instead of written.
How do I send one?
Pick a template instead of writing the message. It appears filled in for whoever you are writing to, so you can read what will actually arrive before you send.
It works the same from Prospecting and from Chats.
Which templates appear?
Only approved ones. A template still waiting on Meta cannot be sent, so it does not appear as something you can pick.
That is deliberate — it would otherwise be an option that silently fails.
Can I change the wording before sending?
Not and still have it be a template. Approval is of the exact wording, so editing it makes it an ordinary message — which is fine inside the 24-hour window and held outside it.
To change it permanently, edit the template and resubmit.
What if someone cannot be sent to?
They are held and named before anything sends — most often a blank with nothing to put in it, when their record cannot fill one.
Everyone else still goes, and you are charged only for those.
