Can I edit a template after it is approved?

The Short Answer
Press Edit on any template and change the wording. Anything you change goes back to Meta to be checked again, usually within a day. You can keep sending meanwhile: people who haven't written in 24 hours get it once the new wording is approved. Keep the blanks where a name, a place or a number goes.
Editing is expected. The only cost is another wait for Meta.
How do I edit one?
Press Edit on any of them in Extensions → Templates and change the wording so it sounds like you.

Yes. Anything you change goes back to Meta to be checked again, usually within a day.
So editing a template you are about to use is worth doing the day before, not the moment you need it.
Can I still send it while it is being re-checked?
Yes. Until Meta approves the new wording, the template counts as with Meta again, and the screen says so: anyone who hasn't messaged you in 24 hours gets it from your number as soon as it's approved, and PropKaki tells you when it is.
People who wrote to you in the last 24 hours don't need a template, so they get your message straight away.
Should I edit or make a new one?
Edit. Adding a near-duplicate beside the old one leaves you with two similar templates and a slower picker at the moment you are in a hurry.
Make a new one when the job is genuinely different, not when the wording needs a tweak.
