How do credits work?
Updated 8 September 2026
The Short Answer
Every plan gives you a pool of credits that refills each month, and Free adds a daily cap on top: 20 a month, up to 10 a day. One credit is one drafted message, or one message sent to one person. An assistant question costs two. Nothing is charged until something is produced.
Credits are the one unit PropKaki charges in. One meter covers the whole product — the chat, your prospects, the paperwork tools — so you never have to track separate allowances for separate features.
What is a credit?
A credit is PropKaki's single unit of work. There is one meter across the whole product, so writing to a prospect, asking the assistant a question and filling in a form all draw from the same pool.
Credits refill on your billing date. They do not roll over — an unused balance does not carry into next month.
On Free there are two limits, not one: 20 credits a month, and up to 10 a day. The daily count resets tomorrow, so there is more waiting for you then. Every paid plan has the monthly limit only.
Open Account Settings → Usage to see where you are: Monthly credits is what your plan gives you, and Top-up credits below it is anything you have bought on top.
What does each action cost?
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Draft a message for one person | 1 |
| Send a message — per person | 1 |
| Reply to a client from Chats — per message | 1 |
| Ask the assistant a question | 2 |
| Ask a question from ChatGPT or Claude | 1 |
| A question that needs the deepest answer | 5 |
| A full property research report | 5 |
| Fill in paperwork | 10 |
| Make a slide deck | 10 |
| Make a listing video | 10 |
A send is counted per person, not per batch. Writing to forty people costs forty credits — which also means picking exactly who to write to never costs you anything extra.
When am I not charged?
Three things never draw a credit:
- Reading anything — your inbox, a prospect's history, a file you have uploaded, your sent log.
- Editing a draft PropKaki has already written for you. You are charged when the draft is produced, not for every change you make to it afterwards.
- Replies your bot sends on Auto-Reply. That mode reads back answers you wrote yourself, so nothing runs and nothing is charged. The other two modes do cost: a reply is 2 credits on Advisor and 1 on Secretary, wherever your bot answers.
Storage is not charged either. Keeping a file costs nothing; it is only reading or sending one that is work.
What happens if I run out?
If a send would take you past what you have left, it stops before anything goes out and tells you how far short you are. You are charged for the messages that went, and nothing is delivered half-finished.
On a paid plan the whole month's credits are available whenever you need them, including all on one busy day — there is nothing extra to spread them across.
On Free you can meet a wall two ways: your 10 for today, or your 20 for the month. If it is the daily one, the count resets tomorrow and the rest of your month is still there waiting.
How do I get more credits?
On a paid plan, to top up mid-month:
- Open Account Settings → Usage.
- Under Top-up credits, press Top up — 50 credits for S$6.
It lands immediately and sits in your wallet until your monthly credits run out.
On Free there is no pack to buy. That row reads More credits and its button is See plans, because the way to more credits on Free is a plan:
| Plan | Per month | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | S$40 | 400 |
| Pro | S$80 | 800 |
| Max | S$120 | 1,200 |
Every plan works out at S$0.10 a credit, and none of them has a daily ceiling.
Why does the same question sometimes cost more?
Most questions you ask the assistant cost 2 credits. A few of the heaviest — the ones that pull several sources together into one answer — cost 5. PropKaki decides which from the question itself.
