Name your numbers and pick your main one

The Short Answer
When you connect a second WhatsApp number, PropKaki asks you to name both — up to 20 characters each, and different — and pick your main number. Your main number is used only for someone who has never messaged either number; everyone else hears from the number they last messaged you on.
The names are for you: they are how you tell the two numbers apart wherever you pick one.
How do I name my two numbers?
Right after your second number connects, Name Your Two Numbers opens: +65 8890 2211 is connected. A name is what you’ll see when you pick which number a message goes from.
- Your first number comes filled in as Work. Change it if you like.
- Name the new number. Ideas: Work, Personal, Rentals, Projects fill it in with one tap.
- Under Your main number, pick one.
- Press Next. It stays grey until both numbers have a name and a main number is picked.
A name is up to 20 characters, and the two must differ — otherwise Each number needs its own name. Closing the box without Next saves nothing. With one number, nothing is ever named.
What does my main number do?
Used for someone who has never messaged either number. Everyone else hears from the number they last messaged you on.
So it is a fallback, not a preference: a client who last wrote to Personal keeps hearing from Personal, whichever number is main. In Extensions → Connectors → WhatsApp, your main number’s block carries a Main tag and the line Main number — used when someone hasn’t messaged either number.
How do I change my main number or rename one?
Both are in Extensions → Connectors → WhatsApp, in the number’s own block:
- Make This My Main — in the block of the number that is not main.
- Rename — beside the number’s name. Type the new name and press Save, or Cancel to leave it.
The same rules apply: up to 20 characters, and different from the other number’s name.
Where do the names show?

Beside other channels the name says WhatsApp; where everything is already WhatsApp, the name stands alone.
What if I disconnect my main number?
Your other number becomes your main number, and the question before you disconnect says so:
New messages to +65 8890 2211 stop arriving, and its conversations and contacts leave your Inbox. Work keeps working. Work becomes your main number. Connect the same number within 90 days and they come back — after that, they’re deleted.
Press Disconnect with the number’s name to confirm, or Cancel.
