Connect a second WhatsApp number
Updated 20 October 2026
The Short Answer
You can connect two WhatsApp numbers to one PropKaki account. Open Extensions → Connectors → WhatsApp, press Add a Second Number and connect it in Meta’s window, the same way as your first. Then name both numbers and pick your main one. Nothing goes to Meta until you choose which templates to send.
Your clients keep hearing from the number they already message you on — the second number only adds a choice.
How do I add a second number?
- Open Extensions → Connectors and open the WhatsApp card.
- Press Add a Second Number.
- Meta’s window opens — the same one you used for your first number. Connect the new number there.
- Name Your Two Numbers opens. Give each number a name, pick Your main number, and press Next — see Name your numbers and pick your main one.
- Your Templates on your new number opens — the section below.
You can tell it worked when the WhatsApp card reads You’re sending, receiving and auto-replying on your own WhatsApp numbers, so no client is left waiting while you’re out. and its number line names both, such as Work · +65 9123 4567 · Personal · +65 8890 2211.
How many numbers can I connect?
Two. Once you have two, the WhatsApp card shows one block per number — its name, its phone, a Main tag on your main number, Rename, its own billing checklist and daily limit, and Disconnect with its name — and Add a Second Number is no longer there.
To swap one number for another, press Disconnect in that number’s block first. With one number left, Add a Second Number comes back.
Does anything go to Meta when I connect?
No. After Next, Your Templates on Personal (with your new number’s name) lists the templates already approved on your first number that are not yet on the new one — nothing ticked. Meta approves templates for each number separately.
- Tick the ones you want to send from the new number too, or press Tick All, then Send 3 to Meta (the button counts what you ticked).
- Or press Set These Up Later.
Either way, the rest keep sending from your first number.
Does anything change for my clients?
No. Each client keeps hearing from the number they last messaged you on. Someone who has never messaged either number hears from your main number.
PropKaki never picks the other number for you. Wherever you send on WhatsApp — the Inbox, Prospecting, an automation — the message starts on that default and you can switch it before it goes. Which number does a message go from? walks through each place.
Is my assistant on for the new number?
Not yet. A number connected from Connectors starts with your assistant off, the same as your first one did when connected there.
Turn it on per number in Configure Assistants, under Where Clients Meet It (from Extensions → Reply Assistants), or in My Bot. Each number has its own row and its own switch, titled WhatsApp · Work and WhatsApp · Personal, and both can be on.
Once you have two numbers, the WhatsApp card in Connectors only connects and disconnects them — it has no answer switch.
