Disconnect your WhatsApp number

Updated 1 September 2026

The Short Answer

Disconnect from the WhatsApp card in Extensions then Connectors. It drops PropKaki's use of that number and nothing else. Do not remove PropKaki from inside your Meta account instead — that leaves the connection half-broken rather than cleanly off.

There is a right way and a messier way. Both stop messages; only one leaves things tidy.

How do I disconnect?

  1. Open Extensions → Connectors.
  2. Open the WhatsApp card.
  3. Press Disconnect.

That is the clean route, and it is reversible — you can connect again later.

What does disconnecting actually stop?

It drops PropKaki's use of that number only. Your WhatsApp account, your number and your conversations on your phone are untouched.

What stops is PropKaki sending on the line and receiving into Chats.

What should I not do?

Do not remove PropKaki's access from inside your Meta account as a way of disconnecting.

That revokes the grant without telling PropKaki, so the card shows Reconnect and the line looks connected while nothing works. Disconnect from the card instead.

Can I reconnect later?

Yes — run the connect flow again. The prerequisites are the same, so check What do I need before I connect WhatsApp? if it has been a while.

Still Stuck?

Ask PropKaki in the chat — it answers most of these directly — or message the team.
