My licence details are wrong. How do I fix them?
Updated 1 September 2026
The Short Answer
PropKaki reads CEA's public register and does not change it. If your name, agency or registration number is shown wrong, the fix is with CEA — once the register updates, PropKaki picks it up. Anything that is yours rather than the register's is editable in Account Settings.
Two kinds of detail, and only one of them is ours to change.
Why can PropKaki not just correct it?
Because the register is the source of truth, not something PropKaki keeps its own copy of.
If PropKaki let you edit it, a verification would mean nothing — anybody could type any agency next to their name.
What do I do instead?
Update it with CEA directly.
Once the public register shows the change, PropKaki reads the new details. There is nothing to press here afterwards.
What can I change myself?
Your display name, your photo, what you focus on, and what shows on your public profile — those are yours, under Account Settings and Public Listing.
Your licence number, your registered name and your agency come from the register.
My agency changed. What happens?
Your PropKaki profile follows the register.
During a move there can be a gap where CEA still shows the old agency. That resolves itself; it is not something to report.
What if the register itself is wrong?
Then it is a CEA matter and PropKaki cannot get ahead of it — showing something different from the register is exactly what a verification is supposed to prevent.
Once it is corrected there, it is correct here.
