A send costs 1 credit per person, so writing to forty people costs 40. There is no batch rate and no discount for sending to more people at once. Narrowing your list always costs less — twelve of the right people is 12 credits.
Sending is priced per person, not per send. That is the whole rule, and it has one useful consequence.
How much does a group send cost?
One credit per person. A group of 40 costs 40 credits; a group of 12 costs 12.
