Connect Telegram

Updated 4 September 2026

The Short Answer

Telegram is for you, not your clients. Open Extensions then Connectors, open the Telegram card and tap Open Telegram, then tap Start in Telegram. That is the whole setup. Send /stop to the bot any time to turn the alerts off again.

This is the connector people misread. It is where PropKaki's alerts reach you — nobody messages you on it, and no conversation appears there.

How do I connect Telegram?

  1. Open Extensions → Connectors and open the Telegram card.
  2. Tap Open Telegram. It opens PropKaki's bot.
  3. Tap Start. That is the whole setup.

There is nothing to install and nothing to pay. The bot answers you're set — PropKaki's alerts arrive here from now on, and the card in PropKaki flips to connected on its own while you are still looking at it, without a refresh.

Once it is linked the card shows Alerts go to your Telegram, with the date it was linked.

Is Telegram a channel for my clients?

Telegram is for you. PropKaki sends its alerts there: a client replied, something is waiting on you, a connector needs fixing. Each one opens the right place in the app.

Your clients do not message you on it, and conversations do not appear there. Reply to a client message from Chats, not from Telegram — if you write back in Telegram the bot says exactly that, and the client never sees it.

For clients on WhatsApp, the connector you want is the WhatsApp card.

Why is my Telegram silent after connecting?

This is the usual reason a freshly connected Telegram says nothing.

Connecting Telegram gives your alerts a destination. It does not decide what you are alerted about, and every alert ships off by default. Until you switch one on there is nothing to deliver, and the card is working perfectly.

Why am I not getting any alerts? walks through the rest of it, and Choose where an alert reaches you covers picking between Telegram, email and the others.

How do I turn the alerts off again?

Two ways, and they do the same thing.

Send /stop to the bot in Telegram. It replies to confirm, and tells you how to come back: tap Connect on the Telegram card in Extensions → Connectors.

Or press Disconnect on that card in PropKaki.

Neither loses anything. Your alert settings stay as they are — they simply have nowhere to arrive until you link Telegram again, and tapping Start a second time re-links the same chat rather than making a second one.

Still Stuck?

Ask PropKaki in the chat — it answers most of these directly — or message the team.
