Why am I not getting any alerts?
Updated 1 September 2026
The Short Answer
Every alert arrives switched off, including the four PropKaki sets up for you. Open Extensions then Alerts and look at whether your rows sit under On or under Off. After that, check that the alert has a channel ticked and that the channel is connected.
There are four reasons and the first one accounts for nearly all of them.
Are they switched on?
Open Extensions → Alerts. The list is grouped under On and Off.
Every alert arrives under Off, including the 4 PropKaki sets up for you. If the screen says Nothing is on yet — your alerts are under Off, that is the whole answer: flip a switch.
Have you made one at all?
If the screen reads Nothing is watching for you, there are no alerts to switch on yet.
Press New Alert. It starts one off — and it stays off until you turn it on.
Does the alert have a channel ticked?
Click the alert and check the channels in the panel: In The App, Telegram, WhatsApp, Email.
None of them is ticked for you when the alert is made. An alert that is On with no channel ticked will never reach you and will look perfectly healthy doing it.
Is that channel connected?
In The App always works. Telegram, WhatsApp and Email each need that channel connected under Extensions → Connectors.
If one is not connected, the alert's panel says so with a Connect button on that line.
Is it watching the right door?
Check the doors under the kind — Your WhatsApp Line, Your Inbox, Your Chat Link.
If the messages are arriving somewhere the alert is not watching, it will not fire. Tick the door they actually come through.
