Can a template be paused or stopped?

An approved template can be paused if enough recipients block or report you: first for three hours, then for six, and eventually disabled for good. Nothing about submitting or being rejected causes this — it is entirely about how people react once it is being sent.
The one real penalty in the template system comes after approval, not before it.

Recipients blocking or reporting you.
Approval says the wording is allowed. What happens next is judged on how people react to receiving it — and that is entirely in your hands.
What does the pause look like?
It escalates:
- Paused for three hours.
- Paused for six hours.
- Disabled permanently.
Each step is a chance to stop and change what you are sending. The third is not reversible.
Does a rejection count against me?
No. A rejection at submission carries no penalty — not for the template, not for your account. Edit and resubmit as often as you need.
Only post-approval behaviour matters.
How do I avoid it?
Send to people who are expecting to hear from you, and make the message about them rather than about you.
The practical rule: if you would hesitate to send it one-to-one, do not send it to forty. Blocks come from messages that feel like a broadcast.
