The Short Answer
Marking someone do not contact stops PropKaki sending to them while keeping their record and history. It is your own flag, set by you — separate from a client unsubscribing themselves, which you cannot undo.
There are two ways someone stops receiving messages. This is the one you control.
How do I stop messaging someone?
Open the person in Prospecting and mark them do not contact.
They stay in your book with their notes, their files and everything you have sent them. They simply stop being written to.
Why not just delete them?
Two reasons.
The history is worth keeping — what you sent and when is the record of the relationship, and it is what tells you why they went quiet.
And a deleted person comes back the next time you import a list they are on. A marked one does not start receiving messages again.
What is the difference from an unsubscribe?
Do not contact is your flag. You set it, and you can unset it.
Unsubscribed is theirs. If a client sends a message containing the word unsubscribe, PropKaki marks them unsubscribed on that channel — and you cannot undo that from your side. It is their decision, not a setting of yours.
Does it apply to every channel?
It stops PropKaki writing to them, whichever channel you would have used.
An unsubscribe is narrower — it applies to the channel they said it on, WhatsApp or email.
