How do I ask about a specific block or condo?

Updated 1 September 2026

The Short Answer

Give the block number or the development name, and add the flat type or size. What are 4-room flats at Block 123 Ang Mo Kio going for gets a real answer, where is Ang Mo Kio good does not. You can ask about anything on the public record.

This is the highest-value question in PropKaki, and most people do not know they can ask it.

How do I name a place?

Either works:

  • Block 123 Ang Mo Kio for an HDB block.
  • Sky Vue or The Sail for a condo.

A postal code works too. If two developments share a name, PropKaki asks which one you mean rather than guessing.

What should I add?

The flat type — 4-room, 3-bedder, 1,200 sqft.

This is what turns a vague answer into a useful one. Prices inside one block vary more by size than blocks vary from each other.

What can I ask about it?

Four kinds of thing:

  • What it has been selling for, and over what period.
  • Whether that is moving up or down.
  • What is around it — MRT, schools, what is being built.
  • How it compares to a nearby alternative.

Ask them in one message if you like; it will take them in order.

Can I compare two?

Yes. Compare 4-room resale at Block 123 Ang Mo Kio against Block 456 Bishan gives you both sets of figures side by side, with the difference stated rather than left for you to work out.

What if there are too few sales?

It tells you. A block with 2 sales in a year does not support a median, and PropKaki says that instead of quoting one.

Widening to the neighbouring blocks or a longer window is usually the answer, and it will offer that.

Still Stuck?

Ask PropKaki in the chat — it answers most of these directly — or message the team.
