What can I ask PropKaki?
Updated 1 September 2026
The Short Answer
Ask about a specific block or condo, what a policy means, whether a plan works financially, or how an area compares. The more specific the question, the better the answer — a block and a flat type will get you further than a district. Answers come back with the sources they used.
The short version: be specific. Here is what that looks like.
What kinds of question work well?
Four kinds:
- A place — what a block or condo has been selling for, and what is around it.
- A policy — what a rule means for your situation.
- A plan — whether the numbers work, and what you have not accounted for.
- A comparison — two areas, two flat types, two timings.
How specific should I be?
As specific as you can manage.
What are 4-room flats at Block 123 Ang Mo Kio going for? gets a real answer. Is Ang Mo Kio good? gets a general one, because that is all the question supports.
Can I just tell it my situation?
Yes, and it is often better than a question.
We are selling our 4-room in Tampines and want a resale condo near an MRT, budget 1.6m gives PropKaki everything it needs to be useful, and it will ask about the parts you left out.
Will it tell me what to buy?
No. It will lay out what each option costs, what it assumes and what it leaves you exposed to — and then it is your decision.
That is a deliberate limit, not a gap.
Can I send it a document?
Yes. Send a brochure, a valuation, a statement — it reads documents to 25 MB and PDFs to 10 pages.
An image has to be under 5 MB, because pictures are handled differently from text.
