Add your first prospect

The Short Answer
Open Prospecting → ⋯ → Add Contacts → Add Contact Manually, type a name and a mobile number or email, and press Add Contact. A phone number lets you message them on WhatsApp; an email address lets you email them. Everything else can wait — those two decide whether PropKaki can send for you.
A prospect is one person in your book. You need very little to start.
How do I add someone?
- In the left rail, open Prospecting.
- Press ⋯, then Add Contacts.
- Choose Add Contact Manually.
- Fill in Name, and at least a phone number under Mobile or an email address under Email.
- Press Add Contact. Their profile opens.
That is enough. You can send to them straight away.
Adding several? Press + Add Another Contact under the fields instead. The form clears for the next person and stays open, with everyone you have added listed below it.
If your book is empty, the same three choices — Import a Spreadsheet, Import Chat and Add Contact Manually — are in the middle of the Prospecting screen.
Which details actually matter?
Two, and they decide what PropKaki can do for you:
- A phone number — needed to message them on WhatsApp.
- An email address — needed to email them.
With neither, a message to them is held with no phone or email on file. Everything else — what they are looking for, their budget, the property they own — makes the writing better, but you can add it later.
What happens after I add them?
You can write to them immediately. PropKaki drafts from whatever is on their record, so a person with two details gets a shorter, plainer message than one with a full history — and both go out fine.
A drafted message costs 1 credit, and sending it costs 1 more.
Should I add people one at a time?
By hand is right for a few. If you already have a list — your client spreadsheet, a CSV, a Meta Lead Ads export — use Prospecting → ⋯ → Add Contacts → Import a Spreadsheet instead, and add the rest as you meet them.
If what you have is a WhatsApp conversation, Import Chat in the same list brings the person in with the whole chat.
