Add a chat as a contact

Updated 4 September 2026

The Short Answer

From a conversation in Chats you can add that person to your book. They become a prospect you can write to, group and follow up, and the conversation stays attached to their record.

Chats is who wrote to you. Prospecting is who you write to. This is the bridge.

How do I add them?

Open the conversation in Chats and add them as a contact. They appear in Prospecting with what you already know about them.

What do I get once they are a contact?

Everything Prospecting does:

  1. Write to them — PropKaki drafts from their record.
  2. Group them with people like them.
  3. Keep notes that shape what it writes next time.

The conversation stays attached, so their history and their record are one thing.

Do I have to add everyone?

No. A one-off question from someone who is not a client does not need a record.

Add the ones you intend to follow up. That is the difference.

What if they are already in my book?

They are matched to the person you already have, so you do not end up with two records for one client. The conversation attaches to the record that already exists.

Still Stuck?

Ask PropKaki in the chat — it answers most of these directly — or message the team.
