Work through your follow-ups
Updated 18 October 2026
The Short Answer
Open Prospecting → ⋯ → Follow-Ups. Needs Your Go-Ahead holds messages your automations have lined up: Draft and Send each person, or Draft All then Send All. Due Today lists people whose follow-up date has come; Close takes one off. Recommended Follow-Ups suggests up to 10 quiet people, highest Value first.
The number beside Follow-Ups counts the first two lists only: Recommended Follow-Ups is advice, and doesn't add to it.
Where do I find Follow-Ups?
- Open Prospecting.
- Press ⋯ at the top. It carries a dot when something is waiting.
- Choose Follow-Ups. The number beside it counts everyone waiting in Needs Your Go-Ahead and Due Today.
Three lists open, in this order: Needs Your Go-Ahead, Due Today and Recommended Follow-Ups. A list with nobody in it doesn't show; with nobody in any of them, Follow-Ups says Nothing needs you right now.
Press anyone's name to close Follow-Ups and open their profile.
How do I approve one person's message?
Needs Your Go-Ahead holds messages your automations have lined up and are waiting on you for. Each automation gets its own block, headed with its name, how many people and how long ago, and ten people show at first.
- Press Draft beside a person. Their message is written and opens under their name. Skip drops them instead.
- Read it, then press Send. Rewrite writes a fresh one, and Skip drops them.
- If their message was written earlier, the button beside them reads Review. Press it to open the message with the same three choices.
Once sent or skipped, they leave the list. If PropKaki can't send to someone, they stay, and Follow-Ups says Nothing went out to [their name] — open them to send it yourself.
Someone who asked in the chat not to be messaged is held, not written to: Victor Lim asked not to be messaged. "please stop messaging me" — 16 Oct. Held until you mark them., with Mark as Unsubscribed.
How do I clear a whole block at once?
The buttons under a block act on everyone in it:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Show More | Shows ten more people |
| Skip All | Drops the whole block; nothing is sent |
| Draft All | Writes everyone's message. Each person's button turns to Review as theirs arrives, and a big block carries on writing if you close Follow-Ups |
| Send All | Takes the place of Draft All once every message in the block is written |
| View All | Opens the block in the Message panel, with the messages already written |
Send All is the one button that asks first. A box says how many people will be messaged and how many credits will be used; press Cancel, or the send button, which carries the number — Send 12.
What is Due Today?
Due Today lists the people whose follow-up date has arrived, oldest date first.
- Press View, or their name, to open their profile. The note you left with the date is there, not in this list.
- Press Close to take them off once you have dealt with them.
Someone you don't get to stays here from their date until you press Close or change the date. Each person here counts towards the number beside Follow-Ups.
Who shows up in Recommended Follow-Ups?
Recommended Follow-Ups suggests people nothing else is chasing who have gone quiet too long. Someone appears when all three are true:
- Their Readiness is Hot or Warm, or their Value is High or Very High.
- Nothing else has them: they are not in Needs Your Go-Ahead, not partway through an automation, have no follow-up date, and have no unread message in the Inbox.
- It has been longer than this since you last contacted them:
| High or Very High | Any other Value | |
|---|---|---|
| Hot or Warm | 7 days | 14 days |
| Any other Readiness | 30 days | Not shown |
Someone you have never contacted counts straight away. Up to 10 show, highest Value first, and the list is worked out afresh each time you open it.
What do the two chips on a recommended person mean?
Each person shows their name, two chips and View.
- The first chip says why they are on the list: their Value if it is High or Very High, otherwise their Readiness, Hot or Warm. The list runs highest Value first, so it also explains the order.
- The second says how long since you last contacted them: 8 Days Quiet, 3 Weeks Quiet or Never Written.
Press View, or their name, to open their profile. There is no button to take someone off: message them and they drop out, or give them a follow-up date and they move to Due Today on that day. Tomorrow brings a fresh list, chosen the same way.
What costs credits?
| Uses credits | Free |
|---|---|
| Draft, Rewrite, Draft All: writing messages | Review, Show More, View, View All |
| Send, Send All: one credit per person the message reaches | Skip, Skip All, Close |
Draft All starts writing as soon as you press it. Only Send All asks first, with the people and the credits spelled out, and someone PropKaki couldn't send to isn't charged.
If you run out while drafting, Follow-Ups says You're out of credits, so nothing was written. Top up and try again.
