Where can an alert reach me?

The Short Answer
An alert can reach you on PropKaki, WhatsApp, Telegram or, for New Message and the market alerts, by email, and each type offers its own set. PropKaki always works; the others need connecting first. A new alert arrives with its switch off and every channel it offers ticked, except New Message's email.

Market alerts are New Listings, New Transactions, Property News and Market Update. An alert with several ticked reaches you on all of them. PropKaki lands under the bell beside New Alert, in Notifications.
Which one should I use?
Telegram if the point is to be interrupted — it arrives straight away, costs you nothing, and sits apart from the WhatsApp your clients message you on.
PropKaki if the point is to have it waiting when you next look. It always works and needs nothing connected. New Message is the exception: it offers WhatsApp, Telegram and Email, not PropKaki. Its email is titled with who wrote, such as Mrs Lim replied or Mrs Lim messaged you, with their first line and Open the Chat on PropKaki.
Why is every channel already ticked when I make an alert?
Every new alert arrives with every channel its type offers already ticked — WhatsApp included — and with its switch off. Nothing is sent until you turn it on, so untick anything you do not want first. An alert you saved before keeps the channels it had. The one exception is Email on New Message: it is offered, but starts unticked, on a new alert and on the ones you already have.
WhatsApp alerts count against a monthly allowance on your plan; the foot of the list shows how many you have used. Past it, WhatsApp pauses until the month turns and the alert reaches your other ticked channels, or PropKaki if WhatsApp was the only one.
What if the channel is not connected?
When you turn the alert on, the check names each ticked channel that cannot reach you yet — Connect Telegram to also be alerted on Telegram, or continue without it — with a button on that line. If none of them can, it says Connect at least one channel for us to alert you and Turn On stays grey.
Telegram is connected under Extensions → Connectors: press Connect on the Telegram card. WhatsApp needs your own WhatsApp number linked to your PropKaki account. Email goes to the address you sign in with. Disconnect Telegram later and it is unticked from every alert; reconnecting does not tick it back.
Can an alert reach me on the same WhatsApp my clients use?
A WhatsApp alert comes from PropKaki's own WhatsApp number to the number linked to your account — never from your own line, so your clients never see it.
It does land in the same WhatsApp app you use for clients, which is why Telegram is the usual choice for anything you want to notice quickly. To stop WhatsApp alerts from your phone, reply UNSUBSCRIBE to PropKaki's number.
