How do I set up an alert?

The Short Answer
Open Extensions then Alerts, press New Alert, then set three things: what to be alerted about, who it should watch, and where it should reach you. Flip the switch and the row moves from Off to On. Nothing reaches you until you flip it.
Start to finish. The only step people miss is the last one.
Step 1 — where do I start?
Open Extensions → Alerts and press New Alert.
A row appears under Off, with its settings in the panel on the right. PropKaki also sets up one of each of the 4 kinds for you, all switched off — so you may find you can just turn one of those on instead.
Step 2 — what should it watch for?
Pick the kind: Someone Writes To You, Someone Leaves Their Details, Someone Goes Quiet, or Meta Answers About A Template.
Most kinds then offer doors to tick — Your WhatsApp Line, Your Inbox, Your Chat Link. Tick the ones you actually use.
Step 3 — whose messages should it watch?
Set who it watches: Everyone, New Leads, Groups or Individuals.
Leave it on Everyone to start. Narrowing is what you do later, when one alert is firing more than you want.
Step 4 — where should it reach me?
Tick one or more of In The App, Telegram, WhatsApp and Email.
In The App always works. The other three need that channel connected first — the panel says so with a Connect button beside it if one is missing.
Step 5 — how do I turn it on?
Flip the row's switch. It moves from Off up to On.
This is the step people miss. An alert you configured perfectly and did not switch on will never reach you, and nothing on the screen will complain.
