How do I choose what to be alerted about?

The Short Answer
Pick the type from New Alert: New Message, New Lead, No Reply or Template Update. Then tick the doors it should watch — My WhatsApp Line, My Mailbox, My Chat Link, My Facebook Page or My Instagram for a message — so it only fires on the ones you actually use.

Where is the setting?
Open Extensions → Alerts and press New Alert; the type is the item you pick from its menu.
Click any row and the panel on the right shows its type under Alert Me When, with its doors below. The type cannot be changed afterwards — for a different one, press New Alert again.
Which type should I pick?
New Message, if you are picking one.
It is the alert that lets you stop checking PropKaki for replies, which is the point of having alerts at all. Add the others once that one is settled — New Lead for someone new getting in touch, No Reply for someone who has gone quiet, Template Update for Meta's answers.
What are the doors?
Ticks under the type, naming where the thing can come from. All of them start ticked:

No Reply has no doors, because silence has no source.
What if I untick every door?
Then nothing can fire that alert, and its box reads None.
Turning it on waits until you tick one: the check says Choose at least one channel for us to watch for you, shows the doors right there, and keeps Turn On grey. If the alert is already on when you untick the last door, its panel says so under Alert Summary, starting It is on, but. Ticking only the door you actually use is the cleanest way to keep an alert quiet.
How long before No Reply fires?
14 days by default. Its After field offers 7, 14, 21, 30, 60 or 90 days — shorten it if your market moves faster, or lengthen it if you work long-cycle sellers.
It counts from the last time you wrote to them, and only if they have not replied since. Each person is named once, when they cross the line; write to them again and the count starts over. People already past the line when you turn it on are not named.
