What is a partner agent?

Updated 1 September 2026

The Short Answer

A partner agent is a CEA-registered agent who has verified their licence on PropKaki and chosen to appear in the directory. It is opt-in, so every profile belongs to someone who decided to be there. That is different from a directory built by publishing a register.

The distinction sounds small and is the whole point.

What makes someone a partner agent?

2 things:

  1. Their CEA licence is verified against the public register.
  2. They turned on Public Listing under Account Settings.

Both are required. Neither happens by itself.

Is this the whole CEA register?

No. Anyone can look up the public register, and a directory that simply republished it would list tens of thousands of people who never asked to be there.

Every profile here belongs to somebody who chose to appear and who keeps it current.

Why does that matter to me?

Because an agent you find here has opted in to being contacted through PropKaki.

They have said what they focus on right now, and they are reachable. A name pulled off a register has done none of that.

Does PropKaki rank them by earnings?

No. What is shown is activity — the volume of transactions on the public record.

That is a fact about experience, not a rating and not a ranking anyone can buy. The methodology page sets out exactly what a deal counts as.

Does an agent pay to be listed?

No. There is no paid placement here — an agent cannot buy a higher position.

What they can do is keep their focus current, which is what actually decides whether they show up for a relevant search.

Still Stuck?

Ask PropKaki in the chat — it answers most of these directly — or message the team.
