What does my bot say to my clients?
Updated 1 September 2026
The Short Answer
Your bot answers clients in one of three modes. Advisor answers any property related question and is what you get out of the box. Secretary collects their details and passes them to you. Auto-Reply says only what you have preset.
Three modes, and they differ in how much your bot is allowed to say.
What are the modes?
| Mode | What it does |
|---|---|
| Advisor | Answers any property related question |
| Secretary | Collects details and passes them to you |
| Auto-Reply | Replies with what you have preset |
Advisor is what a new account gets.
Which one am I on?
Advisor, unless you have changed it. That is the default out of the box, and it is the one that answers most.
If you have never opened the setting, your bot is answering property questions for your clients right now.
Does my bot say it is a bot?
It answers as your assistant. It does not pretend to be you typing, and it does not claim to be a person.
What it will not do in any mode is invent a fact about a property or give financial advice — those refusals hold whichever mode you pick.
How do I change it?
Changing the mode changes what it says. Turning it off is a different control — that is the answering switch on the line itself, not a fourth mode. See How do I turn my bot off?
