Send a message by email instead of WhatsApp

The Short Answer
Pick email as the channel when you write. It sends from your connected mailbox, with replies coming to your own inbox. Two things change: the message gets a subject line, and an attachment over 3 MB is held rather than sent.
Email and WhatsApp are the same composer with a different channel picked. Two things differ.
How do I send by email?
Pick email as the channel on the message. If you have connected a mailbox in Extensions → Connectors, PropKaki sends from your address and replies come back to your own inbox.
If you have not connected one, the message opens in your own mail app for you to send.
What changes when I switch to email?
Two things:
- A subject line. Email needs one; WhatsApp does not. Leave it blank and PropKaki uses your opening line.
- A size limit. An attachment over 3 MB is held rather than sent, because an email that big bounces at the far end. WhatsApp carries larger files.
Which channel should I use?
Use whichever that client actually answers on.
One practical difference: on WhatsApp you can only write freely for 24 hours after they last messaged you, and after that it needs an approved template. Email has no such window.
Does it cost the same?
Yes. 1 credit per person, on either channel, and the draft is 1 either way.
