What file types and sizes can PropKaki read?

The Short Answer
PropKaki reads documents up to 25 MB, and images up to 5 MB. A PDF is read as text up to 10 pages; a scanned PDF has to be read as pictures, so it falls under the 5 MB image limit instead. You can keep files larger than this — the limits are about reading, not storing.
Storing and reading have different limits, so here are both with the numbers.
How big a document can it read?
25 MB for a document read as text — a brochure, a contract, a spreadsheet export.
That covers almost everything an agent works with.
How big an image?
5 MB, because an image has to be handed over as pixels rather than as text.
A photo straight off a phone is usually well inside that. A very large scan may not be.
How long a PDF?
10 pages is the most it reads in one go. Beyond that, send the key pages or a shorter export.
PropKaki says so plainly when it hits the limit rather than reading half and staying quiet about it.
Why did my scanned PDF fail when a longer one worked?
Because a scan has no text in it — it is a stack of pictures. PropKaki has to read it as images, so the 5 MB image limit applies rather than the 25 MB one.
A text PDF exported from Word can be far bigger than a 3-page scan and still be fine.
How many can I use in one draft?
2 files per draft when you ask PropKaki to write from them.
It is the same number the attach row allows, for the same reason: two files is what actually goes on one message.
Can I still keep a file that is too big to read?
Yes. Keeping a file and reading it are separate limits, so an oversized file uploads and stays perfectly well. It still counts toward the storage total at the foot of Workspace then Files.
What you lose is PropKaki writing from it — not the file itself.
