Assistants or teammates — which do I need?

Updated 22 October 2026

The Short Answer

An assistant works in your account, as you, on your credits, and can handle Billing, Verification and your Team if their role allows — Basic includes 1, Pro 2, Max 5. A teammate is another agent with their own verified account, in a team you host: Basic 3 agents, Pro 10, Max 20. They are counted separately.

The question to ask is whose account the work should live in: yours alone, or theirs as well.

Adding either one is the same: email or WhatsApp, a role, Invite.

Which should I pick?

Pick an assistant for someone who works for you — a PA or an admin helper — and should handle your clients, plan, payments or verification as you. What they do is saved as yours.

Pick a teammate for another agent who keeps their own clients, number and credits, and works on yours as well. They never touch your billing or your settings.

Can I add another agent as my assistant?

Not if they have their own verified PropKaki account. + Add Assistant refuses them with This person has their own verified PropKaki account. Add them under Teammates instead — assistants work inside your account. Add them from Teammates instead.

What can my assistant do if I am in a team?

They can also work in your teammates' accounts, area by area at the lower of their own role and yours there. In those accounts they never buy a lead, top up or export, and Billing, Account Settings and Team stay out of reach. On Full Access or Everything Except Payments they can accept, decline or leave a team for you.

Can a teammate have their own assistant?

Yes. A teammate adds assistants in their own Account Settings → Team → Assistants, on their own plan's places, and those assistants reach your account only as far as that teammate does.

Still Stuck?

Ask PropKaki in the chat — it answers most of these directly — or message the team.
