Add press and articles to your website

The Short Answer
Press Add an Article and paste the link — PropKaki reads the headline, the publication, the date and the picture off the page itself. For something that was never online, switch to Enter Details and type it. Up to 24, in the order you set.
A link usually fills itself in. Anything that was only ever in print is typed in the second tab.
How do I add an article to my website?
A link usually fills itself in:
- In the left rail, open My Page.
- Press the dashed Add an Article on your page, or + Add an Article under Configure Page → Articles — both open the same Add an Article box.
- On the Paste a Link tab, paste the address into Article link.
- Click outside the box. Reading the page… shows, then a card with the headline, publication, date and picture it found.
- For another, press + Add Another Article and paste the next link — up to 24 articles in all.
- Press Add.
The new card sits first under Articles on your page, and as a row under Configure Page → Articles.
What if the link brings nothing back?
Some sites do not let PropKaki read the headline, and some pieces were only ever in print. When a link fails, the box says That site did not let us read it. — press Enter Details beside it and the link comes with you. The fields:

A Title is needed, plus a Source or a Link. Enter Details takes one article at a time, which is why + Add Another Article is greyed out on that tab. A card with no link is a plain card, so nobody presses it and lands nowhere.
Does the picture keep working?
Yes. The picture is copied and kept by PropKaki when you add the article, rather than loaded from the publication every time.
So it does not go blank when the site reorganises itself, and your page does not slow down waiting for someone else's server. Each article is read once, when you add it.
How do I refresh, reorder or remove one?
Refresh: an article is read once and nothing re-checks it in the background — a headline from March is still the headline. To read it again fresh, remove it and add the link again. Adding the link without removing it gives you a second card.
Reorder: drag the rows under Configure Page → Articles. Your page shows them in that order.
Remove: the bin on its row, or the × on its card on your page in My Page.
What goes here rather than in Guides?
Articles is press: a piece in a publication, a quote, a feature — evidence somebody else took you seriously.
Guides is a shelf of your own PDFs a visitor can open and read. The two sit as separate sections and can be reordered independently, so put your press above your guides if that is the stronger card.
