Why is there no password?

The Short Answer
PropKaki sends a single-use link to your email address instead of asking for a password. There is nothing to invent, nothing to forget, and nothing that can be stolen from another site and reused here. Your inbox is already the thing that would reset a password anyway.
It surprises people, so here is the reasoning rather than just the fact.
How does it work without one?
You enter your email address and PropKaki emails you a link. Clicking it signs you in.
The link works once and expires quickly, so an old email in your inbox is not a way in.
Is that less secure?
It removes the 2 commonest ways accounts get taken: a password reused from a site that was breached, and a password weak enough to guess.
There is no password here to reuse or to guess.
What if someone gets into my email?
Then they could also have used forgot password on any site you use, so the inbox was always the real key.
If you want another layer, sign in with Google and put two-factor authentication on that account — it then protects PropKaki as well.
Can I set one anyway?
No. There is no password field anywhere in PropKaki, including in Account Settings.
If you would rather not use email links at all, Google and Facebook are the 2 alternatives.
What if I change my email address?
Change it under Account Settings → Account. After that, the link goes to the new address.
Do it while you can still read the old inbox — the change is confirmed there.
