Where do files my clients send me go?

The Short Answer
A photo or file a client sends you — on WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram, or from their PropKaki Inbox — shows in the conversation and is kept on your Files shelf. Open Show, go to Source, and pick From a Client to see only those. They sit beside your own uploads rather than in a separate place.
One shelf, whoever put the file on it. The label tells you where it came from.
Are client files kept at all?
Yes. A photo or file a client sends you on WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram, or from their PropKaki Inbox on your chat link, arrives on the same shelf in Workspace → Files. It also shows in the conversation itself: a photo as the picture, a file as a card you can open.
There is no separate inbox for attachments to go and check. From Messenger and Instagram, videos, voice messages and stickers are not kept; they stay in the app they were sent in. Each file counts toward your storage; see Do stored files cost me anything?
How do I find just those?
Open the Show pill, go to Source, and tick From a Client.
The other 3 sources are Uploaded by Me, Saved from a Chat and Made by PropKaki, so you can narrow to any of them the same way.
Can I tell which client sent it?
Yes. Show → Client narrows to one person's files.
So a client who has sent you six documents over three months has all six in one list, whatever they were called.
Does PropKaki read them automatically?
No. A file from a client is kept, not read — the same as one you uploaded yourself.
It is read when you point at it, and indexed the first time you reference it.
The one exception is your chat link on Advisor: a photo or PDF sent there goes to your assistant with their message and is read to answer them, the same as a question typed in. On Secretary it is not read; the client is told you will look at it today.
Can I delete one?
Yes. Delete moves it to Trash with an Undo, and Delete Forever removes it.
There is no difference in how a client's file is handled once it is on your shelf.
