How do I organise my files?
Updated 1 September 2026
The Short Answer
Make folders with New Folder and move files into them by dragging or with Move. Rename anything in place. The Show pill narrows the list four ways at once — by place, by type, by when it arrived, and by where it came from — and tells you how many filters are on.
A shelf gets big fast. Two habits keep it usable: folders for the things you reach for, and the Show pill for everything else.
How do I make a folder?
In Workspace → Files, press New Folder and name it.
Folders appear as rows in the same list as your files, so there is one table to read rather than two.
How do I move files into one?
Drag a file onto a folder row, or select files and use Move.
You can select several at once and move the lot.
How do I rename something?
Use Rename on the row.
It changes the file's actual name, so it reads the same wherever the file turns up later — including the picker you attach from.
What does the Show pill do?
Show opens one menu holding all of it:
- The place: Everything, Recent, Sent, Trash — one at a time.
- Type — Documents, Images, Videos, Slides, Listings, Cards, Chat Exports.
- Added — when it arrived.
- Client — who it relates to.
- Source — Uploaded by Me, Saved from a Chat, From a Client, Made by PropKaki.
The pill counts what is narrowing, so it reads Show: 2 when two filters are on. Everything clears them.
Can I sort the list?
Click a column heading: Name, Size, Added or Used. Click again to reverse it.
There is also a grid view if you would rather see thumbnails, on the toggle at the left of the toolbar.
