Join or leave a team

Sign in with the email or WhatsApp number the host used. A box opens with the invitation, Accept and Not Now; it opens again at every sign-in until you accept or decline. The invitation also waits in Account Settings → Team, and the Team tab carries a count while it does.

The invitation reads Alex Wong invited you to their team, with the host's own name, and under it Alex decides what the team can see and do in your account. If they used your email, you also got an email saying the same.

1. Press Accept to join, or Decline to say no.
2. If your account is not verified yet, Accept opens Verification first and brings you back to the invitation once it passes.

Once you are in, the tab is headed with the host's team, such as Alex Wong's Team, and shows Your role, the Members by first name, and Leave Team. If you decline, the host sees Declined on your box.

Your clients, number, credits and plan stay yours. What changes is who can work in your account:

• the host, at Full Access — except connecting or disconnecting your channels;
• each other member, at the one role the host gave them.

Your role is what you can do in their accounts. Billing, Export, Verification, Public Listing, Styles, Branding, your AI chats and your Alerts stay yours alone.

The box says which:

• You're already in Alex Wong's team. Leave it first to join this one. — one team at a time.
• You have your own team. Remove everyone from it first to join this one. — if your own team has nobody in it, accepting simply closes it.
• An assistant works in the account of the person they assist, so they can't join a team. — an assistant can answer an invitation only for the agent, and only on Full Access or Everything Except Payments.
• That invitation is no longer open. — the host withdrew it.

1. Open Account Settings → Team and pick Teammates.
2. Press Leave Team.
3. A box asks Leave Alex Wong's Team? and says The team loses access to your account. Clients handed to you stay with you.
4. Press Leave, or Cancel to stay.

Your access to every account in the team ends at once, and the switcher goes back to just you. The host does not leave their own team; they remove people instead.

• Clients handed to you stay in your account, with the history you could read up to the moment you left.
• The account they came from gets its own copy back in its lists, and new messages on its number are its own again.
• Clients you handed out stay with whoever has them.
