How do I compare two properties?

The Short Answer
Use the Comparison Assistant, or ask in the chat — both work. Name both places and add the flat type, and you get the figures side by side with the difference stated. The assistant produces something you can show a client; the chat is faster for your own thinking.
Two routes, and which you want depends on whether anyone else is going to read it.
What is the quickest way?
Ask in the chat. Compare 4-room resale at Block 123 Ang Mo Kio against Block 456 Bishan.
It costs 2 credits and comes back with both sets of figures and the difference stated rather than left for you to work out.
When should I use the assistant?
Workspace → Free Tools → Comparison Assistant, when the comparison is going to a client.
It produces something laid out to be read by somebody else, rather than an answer written to you.
What should I give it?
Both places by name or block, and the flat type — 4-room, 3-bedder, a square footage.
Without the type you are comparing two averages that include units nobody is choosing between.
What can it compare?
Prices and how they have moved, sizes, tenure, and what is around each — MRT, schools, what is being built.
Ask for what matters to this client; it does not have to be everything.
Will it tell me which is better?
No. It sets out where each one wins and what each one costs you.
