How do I choose what an automation says?

The Short Answer
What has nine choices, from Send Chaser to Send Custom Message. Auto lets PropKaki read the person and pick the angle. Alongside it sits the message mode: Generic Message writes one message for everyone, Customised Message writes a different one for each person.
Step three of four. Two settings decide the message: what it is about, and whether everyone gets the same one.

This is the same list the composer offers when you write by hand, so what an automation can be about and what you can pick yourself never drift apart.
What does Auto do?
Auto does not pick one subject for the whole list. It reads each person — what they were looking at, when you last spoke, what has happened at their place — and picks the angle for them.
It is the right default when your audience is Everyone, because one subject rarely fits everyone.
How do I use my own words?
Pick Send Custom Message and a box appears below it. Type what you want said.
Leave the box empty and the automation will not run — there is nothing to send, and it says so rather than sending something generic in your name.
Should everyone get the same message?
Beside What sits the message mode:
- Generic Message — one message for everyone.
- Customised Message — a different message for each person.
Customised Message reads each person's record, so it can mention their block, their timing, the thing they asked about. It costs one credit per draft either way.
Will it need a template?
Sometimes. WhatsApp only delivers approved wording to someone who has not messaged you in the last 24 hours.
The turn-on check counts how many of your audience are in that position, so you find out before the automation runs rather than after. Email has no such rule.
