The group's website describes four arms, each a support group for one market: Hexa Luxe for luxury homes, Hexa Commercial for commercial property, Hexa Resale for resale and rental, and Hexa Project for new launches.[3]

Who founded ERA HexaGroup?
Chris Chen built and leads ERA HexaGroup. He started in real estate in 2002 after studying telecommunications management at Western Michigan University, 99.co reported in 2022.
Chen worked desk jobs in Michigan and Chicago before returning to Singapore and quitting his job at 24, 99.co reported; a friend, now his mentor, introduced him to real estate in 2002. He later moved from selling into managing a team.[4]
No source gives the year the group took its name. ERA called it Catalyst Division in 2019, and 99.co called it the Catalyst HexaGroup in 2022.[2],[4]

By the sources, Chris Chen began in 2002, led Catalyst Division as a Senior Group Division Director by 2019, and by 2021 the group's site said it had about 1,000 members. ERA named it its top team from 2018 to 2020, 99.co reported.

PropKaki has found no published report of a leader or division joining or leaving HexaGroup. ERA's 2019 announcement credited Chris Chen with ERA's Top Recruiter award for new individuals and teams.
Groups at ERA have moved before: Navis, once ERA's largest group at 1,100 agents, moved to OrangeTee in 2017, EdgeProp reported. PropKaki has found no report of HexaGroup leaving ERA, or of a named team joining it.[5]

There is no separate application to HexaGroup. A new agent registers with ERA Realty Network through a leader in the group. 99.co reported that its members include senior managers from other industries, property investors on a second career and new agents in their 20s and 30s.[4]
