Mary Tan District (MTD) is the group Mary Tan leads at Huttons. 99.co reported in October 2021 that she had grown it from a two-person team to more than 1,400 agents, then called MTD Group (Make The Difference); EdgeProp put it at more than 2,000 in August 2025.
In 2021 99.co called the group MTD Group, short for Make The Difference, and described Mary Tan as the female leader with the most agents in the industry, a claim it did not measure. By 2025 EdgeProp used the name Mary Tan District and said she oversaw more than 2,000 agents, mentoring younger and mid-career agents.
99.co wrote in 2021 that MTD Group had "recruited key specialists into their division": Willi Ching, Head of Huttons Landed Division; Tony Teo, Head of Huttons International; and Rex Tan, Head of the Rex Tan Division. It did not say whether those leaders' teams are counted in MTD's 1,400. A January 2022 Huttons event page names Mary Tan among the senior leaders Kevin Geow built his team with, and EdgeProp's 2025 article calls Kevin Geow and Rex Tan the two men pivotal to her career. None of these sets out how the groups' sizes relate, so they should not be added up.
